Are we allowed to make changes in the source code? Export knowledge base Export     SubscribeSubscribe      Show article info

You should not change any files in the VisionFlow source code (such as .vm, .class, .js or .html files) since this may impact the behaviour of the system and is not recommended, also you should not replace any of the files in the WEB-INF/lib directory on the server. We can then not guarantee that the system works as intended and we will not support your system. Also, since we may change/remove files one version to the next, your changes may get lost from one version to the next.

If you want us to make a change in the system or add a new feature then we recommend that you request this feature from us. You can do this by logging into our support center and creating a feature request for us there, or you can add this as a general idea in the ideas section in the support center (this means that other customers can also vote for this)

The above statement is our official policy, however some changes would naturally be quite harmless for you to make but we can't take responsibility for the parts of the system where changes have been made. Also, since we may change/remove to the files you have changed from one version to the next, so you will need to keep track of your changes and apply them again after each update.
