First of all; take a backup copy of your current installation!
Both the directory in the Tomcat webapp and the database!
NOTE! This time we do not provide an "upgrade package" because of the huge number of changed files.
Again, make sure that you have a backup of your Tomcat webapp!
Unzip the vp_installed_v3.1.zip anywhere on your disk
Start to update your VisionFlow database by running the SQL script 'upgrade_from_3.0_to_3_1.sql' located in the directory: '\WEB-INF\internal_docs\installed version\db_scripts\v3.1\Upgrade from 3.0'.
Remove all files in the 'web-inf/lib' directory
Extract the content from "vp_installed_v3.1.zip" over your current installation.
Take the following files from your backup copy (1. above) and replace the corresponding files that was extracted in 5.
The file web-inf/classes/VisionFlow.properties contains a new section for LDAP integration. That section is in the end of the new VisionFlow.properties file so you can copy your old VisionFlow.properties file into the web-inf/classes directory and then copy the LDAP-section from the new VisionFlow.properties file (If you want to use LDAP integration that is...)
NOTE: If you have changed the CSS-file you have to modify the branding/1/branding.css with your changes. Use a diff-tool to see what has changed (WinMerge is a great tool for that!)
