Here you can choose to activate logging of deleted issues. This is a away to trace an issue when and by whom an issue is deleted. 



When you activate this, deleted issues will be logged with this information:


  • TicketID
  • Issue key
  • Title
  • Deleted by "User"
  • Date deleted


Also the deletion activity will show up in Recent activity portlet if 'log delete issues' is activated.
