First of all; take a backup copy of your current installation, including the database!
Shut down your Tomcat server
Again, make sure that you have made a backup of your Tomcat webapp (all files) and the database!
Extract the content from 'vp_installed_v7.4_upgrade_from_v7.3-20111101.zip' over your current installation.
Remove the file 'WEB-INF/lib/javamail-1.4.2.jar
Update your VisionFlow database by running the SQL script 'upgrade_from_v7.3_to_v7.4.sql' located in the directory: '/WEB-INF/internal_docs/installed version/db_scripts/v7.4/Upgrade from v7.3'. Choose the directory that match your database, MS SQL Server or MySQL.
Place the the license file that you have received in the directory: 'WEB-INF/classes'
[OPTIONAL] This section only applies if you have installed the chat module.
We denote the folder where you installed Tigase: tigase_root and the VisionFlow webapp direcory: vp_root.
- Replace 'tigase_root/libs/vp-tigase-addons-1.0.0.jar' with 'vp_root/WEB-INF/internal_docs/installed version/configuration/chatmodule/vp-tigase-addons-1.0.0.jar'
- Change in 'tigase_root/etc/init.properties property --sm-plugins should be change to: --sm-plugins=message,vp_history=2
- Restart Tigase.
- If you are using the support chat module. You should update the scripts for the support chat with correct versions. See here.
