Sections: Here you can create sections to place your custom fields in, to be able to group related fields together.

Add a new section by clicking on "Add new section", this opens the add/edit section dialog.

The columns in the section table are:

  • Name - the section name.
  • Order - When looking at project info, the standard default fields will be shown first, then the sections of custom fields, in the section order, with lowest first and highest last.
  • Action - These function icons do different things:
    • Delete - This deletes the section, AND its connected custom fields! Be sure to first disconnect any custom fields you want to keep!
    • Edit - shows the add/edit section dialog, where you can change section name or order.

Custom fields: Here you add and edit custom fields on your projects. Note that all projects will have the same custom fields (As of v7.1, future improvements may allow project specific custom fields.)

Add a new custom field by clicking on "Add new custom field", this opens the add/edit custom field dialog.

The columns in the custom field table are:

  • Section - Which section the custom field is in. This is to show custom fields in related groups.
  • Name - The name of the custom field.
  • Type - Which type of custom field it is. Select from the list of currently available custom field data types. See the list below.
  • Mandatory - This field is required, and must be set before the project info is allowed to be saved.
  • Order - When looking at project info, the standard default fields  will be shown first, then the sections of custom fields, in the section  order, with lowest first and highest last.
  • Action - These function icons do different things:
    • Delete - This deletes the custom field from all projects. Make sure it is not needed in any project!
    • Edit - shows the add/edit custom field dialog, where you can create or change a project custom field.
